A match made in heaven! This Grade A, robust maple syrup was aged in empty bourbon, rye whiskey, and rum barrels for more than six months. Each type of hooch lends a distinctive and delicious flavor to the syrup, which is perfect on pancakes, waffles, French toast, yogurt, granola, cheese cake, and fruit. It also makes a killer maple old fashioned and goes great in coffee.
Every Old State Farm syrup starts as sap from wild, hard maple trees on the edge of Allegheny National Forest in Emlenton, Pennsylvania. These trees grow on steep slopes in glacial soil. They are fed by spring rain and abundant sunshine, producing a unique flavor profile that won't be found anywhere else. This set includes three bottles that are two ounces each.
